Geranium

Emotional Qualities:

Geranium smells like emotional equilibrium without suppression.  The floral brightness balanced by green, almost minty sharpness.  There's warmth here, but it doesn't coddle.  Instead, it creates space where feelings can exist without becoming overwhelming.  Geranium is good for the kind of connection that requires both openness and boundaries: present enough to engage, grounded enough to maintain clarity.  It's the scent of being emotionally available without losing yourself in the process.

Comparison with Similar Scents:

Geranium vs. Rose
Rose is deeper, more luxurious, intensely floral with a richness that can feel almost heavy.  Geranium is lighter and sharper, with a green herbaceous edge that keeps it from being purely romantic.  Rose feels enveloping and intimate; geranium feels clear and vital.  If rose is emotional depth, geranium is emotional clarity.

Geranium vs. Palmarosa
Palmarosa is softer and sweeter, gentler, grassier, more delicate in its floral quality.  Geranium has more presence: a rosy richness with a sharper green note that adds energy.  Palmarosa calms through softness; geranium balances through vitality.  If palmarosa is soothing background, geranium is engaged participation.
