It holds a taut tension between the cool, pine-bright edge of Frankincense and a warm, vibrant pane of citrus light from Orange, two brightnesses meeting rather than a light against a shadow. Through this quiet air, a single, dry spark of Ginger rises, acting like a tiny particle of curiosity floating in a sunbeam. The air is stabilised by a barely-there base of Sandalwood and dry Patchouli, just enough to keep the blend from floating away entirely.
